Minnesota Wild

Eagle on the St Louis River
Mama eagle protecting her nest
The Eaglet she was protecting
A crane on the St Louis River
We saw this bald eagle protecting his nest on the St. Louis River. I made Josh promise to take me back for some eagle shots in better light next time! While he and a friend were trout fishing a nearby stream last week they ran into a black bear--I was pretty jealous I wasn't there for a photo opp! Maybe next time!
A sunset on the St. Louis River.
A mama Minnesota loon and her baby on Bent Trout Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Mallard have made a home in our back yard.
Some pretty flowers that come up in our back yard--wish I knew what they were.
A fallen birch tree some where in the forest.
Moon over Minnesota through a birch on the Blackhoof River.
