For Christmas Katie and Micah each got some money from my grandparents--it didn't take them long to figure out what to do with it. We headed to Wal-mart and they each bought a sliding saucer.
New Year's Day Josh and I took them sliding. It was a bit icey but they had a ball and we managed to escape with no major crashes!
Micah was in his element from the start.
Katie not so much--It took a few minutes of convincing to get Katie to go down.
She made him promise to push her gently down the hill--but he didn't listen.
She is still not too sure about it.
By the time she made it to the bottom of her first slide she was having a ball!
Micah was already on his way back up the hill before Katie made it all the way down the first time--he went down about 2 times to her 1!
Off he goes again
Squealing all the way!
By the time she made it back up for the second run she jumped right on!
Before the day was done Katie was whizzing down the hills like a pro!
