Snow Town

Banks of snow fill a pretty good section of the church grounds.  The kids from church made a snow town out of it complete with tunnels, snowball reserve cubbies and playful children.  This has quickly become Katie and Micah's favorite outdoor play place--along with the sliding hills directly opposite the town!
Here's Katie in the main tunnel.
She dug on this particular tunnel all week long.
Micah in a side tunnel--
they were hoping to meet each other in the middle.
My friend Eileen said of this pic, "Well, we see who has been doing all the work now don't we?"  Although Micah is taking it easy here, he actually did dig like a little mole for hours at a time--the only thing visible being the white tufts of snow flying out the end of the tunnel he was in!
Katie and Micah got to drive the gator to Snow Town.
Several of the kids from church at work (and play) in Snow Town.
Some used the shovels to dig--others simply used them as snow clump launchers.
Before long the kids were no longer visible--but you could see random clouds of white from the kids digging below.
Stella, our doggie, left this message in the snow for us one morning--she loves us!
