Bible Time!!

Let the studying begin!  With Bible Bowl just around the corner I have adapted Katie's reading and Bible lessons to include the Book of John.  Each of the kids from church challenged and adult to a Bible Bowl Competition.  Katie chose her Auntie Amy to challenge--she said she couldn't choose Papa or Daddy because they preach, she chose Mama for a while and then signed up Amy--those of you who know my sister are probably questioning her choice!

Dad was challenged by one of the teens and so he and Katie have joined forces and are studying through the book of John together.
Micah is a bit young to participate in the Bible Bowl but we have been studying the judges in his class--which sometimes gets a bit tricky with Kindergartners.  Samson is coming up--so in honor of the Nazarite tradition of not cutting hair--we left Micah a mohawk when we cut his hair last week.  OK, so its a stretch, but its better than a long shaggy hairdo and he thinks it is hilarious!!I planned to give him a regular haircut after our Samson lesson but he begged me to let him keep it just until Wednesday, so I agreed.  This is why he wanted to keep it--Wednesday was April 1 so he and Amy had made plans to fool April on April Fools!!
